NCTC Shuttle (North Central Texas College)

The NCTC Shuttle is a DCTA service offered in partnership with North Central Texas College (NCTC) to provide direct shuttle service to the Corinth and Flower Mound campuses as well as connectivity between Denton and Lewisville.

NCTC Shuttle Hours & Holidays
During the academic year, the NCTC Shuttle operates Monday through Friday. No service on New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and days when classes are not held. The campus shuttle may not operate during mini-mesters in the winter and spring at the discretion of North Central Texas College.

Acceptable Fare
The NCTC Shuttle is open to any rider with exact cash fare of $3.00 for adults or $1.50 for elderly, disabled or Medicare cardholders and students (ages 5-18, students over the age of 14 require valid high school or DCTA issued ID). Valid DCTA Local System and Regional fare options are accepted as well as valid DART, The T and TRE Regional Passes.  NCTC students, faculty and staff with a valid NCTC ID ride the NCTC shuttle and Connect bus service for no additional fare.

DCTA Service Connections to the NCTC Shuttle
In Denton, NCTC Shuttle passengers may transfer to and from DCTA Connect via Route 2 and the A-train at the MedPark Station. In Lewisville, passengers may transfer to and from any Lewisville Connect route and Connect RSVP at Summit and Civic Circle.

Texas Woman's University (TWU)

Discounted Connect Passes
Students may use DCTA Connect bus service at a significantly reduced rate and are able to purchase discounted Connect passes exclusively at the TWU Student Union (room 209). These passes are sold to students in batches of 10 for $7.50, thus making the rate for students $.75 each way – half of the regular fare. Students who do not purchase these passes must pay full fare upon boarding the Connect bus service. Faculty and staff will be required to pay the full fare, which is $1.50 each way.

University Pass Program
For those that utilize DCTA services on a regular basis, the University Pass Program would be a beneficial option. These passes are available online through the TWU portal or at the Downtown Denton Transit Center (DDTC). Additionally, for faculty and staff utilizing Connect bus service only, the Annual Connect Pass is available at a 30 percent reduction from the DDTC with a TWU employee ID.

Connect routes 4, 5 and 6 serve Texas Woman's University from the DDTC offering transfer opportunities to the A-train.

TWU Dallas Campus*
To get to the TWU Dallas Campus, take the A-train south to the Trinity Mills Station. Transfer to DART's Green Line at the Trinity Mills Station. Get off the Green Line at the Southwest Medical District/Parkland Station and take either Bus Route 405 or Bus Route 453 to the Inwood @ Southwestern Medical stop.

Returning from the TWU Dallas Campus you will pick up Bus Route 453 at the Inwood @ Southwestern Medical stop. Take Bus Route 453 to the Southwest Medical District/Parkland Station where you will catch the Green Line headed north to the Trinity Mills Station. At the Trinity Mills Station transfer to the A-train.

UNT Shuttle (University of North Texas)

The UNT Shuttle is a DCTA service offered in partnership with University of North Texas (UNT) to provide direct shuttle service to the campus and off campus student-oriented housing.

UNT Shuttle Hours & Holidays
During the academic year, the UNT Shuttle operates Monday through Friday, with Campus Cruiser service on nights and weekends.  Limited summer service is offered late May through mid-August. Click here for the UNT Shuttle 2013-2014 Service Calendar.

Acceptable Fare
The UNT shuttle is open to any and all riders. Valid DCTA connect, Local System and Regional fare options are accepted. UNT students, faculty and staff with a valid school ID ride the UNT shuttle and connect bus service for no additional fare.

Connect Bus Service to UNT
Connect routes 7, 8 and 9 serve the University of North Texas from the Downtown Denton Transit Center (DDTC) offering transfer opportunities to the A-train.

The UNT Parking & Transportation office provides additional transportation programs for UNT students, faculty and staff; such as ridesharing, E-Ride late night on-demand service and an hourly rental car program.
