Due to construction on Welch Street, Denton Connect Routes 7 and 8 and some University of North Texas (UNT) Campus Shuttles (Discovery Park, Mean Green, Mean Green Nigh Rider and Eagle Point) will miss the following stops until construction is complete:
- Denton Connect Routes 7 inbound and 8 outbound Welch at Chestnut Stop (temporary stop Chestnut at Bernard inbound only)
- Denton Connect Routes 7 inbound and 8 outbound Welch at Mulberry (temporary stop Chestnut at Bernard inbound only)
- Discovery Park Art Building (temporary stops include Hickory at Fry inbound and Chestnut at Bernard outbound)
- Mean Green, Eagle Point and Mean Green Night Rider shuttle stop (temporary stops include Hickory at Fry and Chestnut at Bernard inbound only)
The temporary stops will not be available in DCTA’s Transit Tracker system during construction. We will update passengers when we are able to resume normal routing via Rider Alerts and all social media outlets. We appreciate your patience during this time!
