Hop on the Denton County Transportation Authority (DCTA) this December to get into the holiday spirit! The agency is offering free rides to the Denton Holiday Lighting Festival on Friday, December 6, and to the Lewisville Old Town Holiday Stroll on Saturday, December 7.
Denton Holiday Lighting Festival Free Ride Details
The Denton Holiday Lighting Festival will take place on Friday, December 6) from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the downtown Denton Square. Admission to the event is FREE. Passengers can ride DCTA free to the event by saying the code word “Friends of the Family Holiday Express” to agency bus and train operators.
The free ride promotion is available ONLY on the A-train Commuter Rail, Denton and Lewisville Connect Bus, Highland Village Connect Shuttle, University of North Texas (UNT) and North Central Texas College (NCTC) Campus Shuttles, Denton Enterprise Airport and Lewisville Lakeway On-Demand service.
Lewisville Old Town Stroll Free Ride Details
The Lewisville Old Town Holiday Stroll will take place Saturday, December 7, from 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Wayne Ferguson Plaza Admission to the event is free. Passengers can ride DCTA free to the event by saying the code word “Old Town Stroll” to agency bus and train operators.
